For when we are feeling overwhelmed or alone.

Pregnancy is not always as beautiful as we may have imagined…

Sometimes the battle in our own mind makes this even harder! We have fantasies of “blooming” in pregnancy, for some pregnancy is all they have ever wanted and sadly, this can be riddled with fear, exacerbated by appointments, information and other peoples unnecessary input.

Pregnancy can feel like the longest, loneliest time in the world and if we don’t really talk about it we can end up feeling overwhelmed, and alone.

There is no pre-requisite to have struggled getting or staying pregnant previously to receive our support, or to already be one of our clients or community. If you are struggling with your emotional wellbeing and your mental health during your pregnancy, or to process that time in your history, whether it’s pregnancy, anxiety, birth phobia, previous post-natal depression or birth trauma, or something else altogether we are here to help.

It is worth noting that we VERY often see people who are highly anxious during pregnancy and often think they are abnormal or crazy or the only one, in our experience this is really normal. Somehow, you are left believing that you are failing at something that everybody is loving.

For this reason, we would always recommend having positive and regular contact with other mums, where you can offload, normalise and support each other, we provide spaces for you to do this and there are many more available.

You can explore your options during an initial consultation, which include; counselling or coming along to one of our drop in sessions.

We also offer free  Pregnant Pause Sessions – which provides time out to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, bond with baby and other muma’s to be.

We have also set up Muma Natter an online facebook group where anyone in our community can connect, communicate and support each other You can view and join the group here.
